  • Broke the casino ceiling in 1985 by convincing Eddie Murphy to launch his stand-up tour in the tiny Sands Copa Room, then followed with Linda Ronstadt, Cher, Billy Crystal and Robin Williams, helping pull casinos out of lounge nostalgia and into contemporary headliners.

  • At Mohegan Sun Arena, oversaw casino and arena debuts or early headline plays for global stars like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, turning the room into a must-play stop on national tours.

  • Gave arena debuts to breakout names such as Lainey Wilson and comedy phenom Matt Rife and hosted high-profile tapings including My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with Adam Sandler.

Record-breaking runs and residencies

  • Staged a 10-night Billy Joel run at Mohegan Sun in 2008, a bold move that predated the current residency trend and became a reference point for how a casino arena can host a true arena-level residency.

  • Turned Matt Rife’s online momentum into 12 straight sold-out arena shows at Mohegan Sun, reportedly with zero traditional advertising, driven by data, timing and trust.

  • Launched the 5,000-seat OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino with a sellout Billy Joel show, setting a tone that helped the venue climb to number one in its size category in major year-end charts.

Ticket sales and global rankings

  • In 2016, drove more than 700,000 guests through Mohegan Sun Arena, earning recognition as the top casino venue in the world and one of the busiest arenas globally by major industry outlets.

  • Under his leadership, Mohegan Sun averaged roughly 120 events, 1,000+ shows and about 700,000 visitors per year, functioning as a full arena business inside a resort.

  • In 2021, the Mohegan Sun Arena finished as the top ranked indoor arena in the world for its capacity and among the top ten venues in the United States by ticket sales.

  • By 2026, readers of Newsweek named Mohegan Sun Arena the Best Casino Concert Venue in the country, ahead of Las Vegas landmarks like the Sphere and the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
